Terms and Conditions

​

• The Ink Book Prize is open to an English language Picture book, Children's, Young Adult, Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction book first published in print form in the UK or Ireland between January 1st 2024 and December 31st 2024. The author must be from or living in the UK or Ireland for at least three months prior to publications.

• The awards is only for self-published books.

• The book must not have already been entered into the awards.

• There are four awards - Children's (picture book, children's & YA), Fiction, Non-Fiction and Best Debut.

• Books that are part of a series are eligible but must also work as a standalone book. 

• All books must be first published between January 1st 2024 and December 31st 2024.

• There is a one off entry fee of £50 per book. This is non-refundable.

• Only debut authors can be eligible for the Best Debut award.

• You agree to send a total of 5 books. 3 copies for the judges and 2 for admin to different addresses. A PDF of the book may also be required. 

• You will provide your author name, contact email and social media links  These details will be treated in total confidentiality and will only be used in connection with the awards.

• You will provide high resolution jpeg images of yourself/illustrator and the front cover of the book.​​
